June…..What an exciting month!

Lots of shows and some good results.

But the best time was when we went to a seaside place in Conneticut called Norwalk. It was for a specialty show held by Ilene’s club the Housatonic Cairn Terrier Club of America.  When we entered the ring I saw lots folks watching , I think we both looked very smart (Stacy looked lovely in a spotted frock) but then I saw a lady with a large sun hat taking my photo & filming me all the time, I was sure I knew her………. Anyhow after judging (we had a good result with Select Dog) Ilene came over with the lady in the big hat and the penny dropped….It was My UK Mum Brenda!!!!! We had lots of cuddles and catch up –

The next day we went back to the same place, so I was looking for Brenda again, I spotted her and we had lots more catch up time.

Who’s that lady Stacy?

Don’t we look smart!

(Is this my best side Stacy?)

I’m sure she here again Stacy!

Kiss time…

Cuddle time…

May – Wooooopee… Just found out Brenda is coming out to see me in June….

Apparently she is coming with her big sister Carol. They are going to hit New York for a couple of days, then over to Connecticut to see me at The Housatonic 40th Anniversary Show.  Ilene has promised me she will look after them.

The day after I showed under US judge Joe Vernuccio and was given Award Of Merit.  - It was Bren’s 60 Birthday on the 17th she was so pleased for me, what a lovely present for her!

January 2014

12th December. Its my birthday today - Still feeling a little homesick, but Ilene has bought me a toy to cheer me up. I think we might have something special for tea too.

It's nearly Christmas so I helped Ilene trim the tree today.

I woke up with a jolt from my long sleep and felt my ears hurting. The plane was coming down. Luckily as I was last on the plane, I was first off and my Crate was picked up on it’s pallet and driven to the arrivals lounge. All I could see were bright lights and hear two ladies talking to someone about my papers.

After a short while they had me in my crate, they opened the door and tried to coax me out.  After a bit of smooth talking I emerged and was picked up by Ilene who gave me a cuddle and seemed very happy to see me. She handed me over to her friend Lois (whom I had also met at the symposium) whilst she rang Brenda and Danny to tell them I was here in the USA safe and sound.

Monday  Morning

9th December 2013

Up at 3am this morning, Danny took me for my favourite walk down the country lane. Brenda seemed a bit upset. Then we set of in the car to Manchester. I sat on Brenda's Knee in the front. At Manchester Airport they said goodbye and left me in room 007 Cargo office with a very nice chap.      Next thing I am in that crate again which was then strapped to a pallet and loaded onto an Aeroplane! I had very comfy bedding, plenty of water but no food.  I was a little frightened at first but decided to try have a sleep.

I wondered if Danny & Brenda knew what was happening to me!!

A very large covered in dog crate has arrived at Brenndarcy. I am not too keen on the look of it. But my Grandma Phoebe has decided to check it out for me and I have agreed to sleep in it overnight for a few days.

I have been to the vets this morning and Brenda has been issued with a pet Passport for me- Not sure what for, but there is lovely photo of me inside and the Vet said I was A1 again and fit for travel! When I got home I had super tea of fresh chicken and biscuit, later after my walk with Danny   I was allowed in the lounge to watch TV and listen to their loud music I was knee hopping all evening, not sure why, but Danny & Brenda have been cuddling me a lot lately.

Brenda is talking via email and telephone to a lady called Ilene Kaplan in the USA.  We met her at the World Cairn Symposium In August.

After big discussions with Danny and advice from friends they have decided I can go on a long holiday to see Ilene.

Because of this I have been having to go to the Vets for blood tests and inoculations etc.    Apparently I have passed A1.
